  I bought an HDMI 1x8 splitter and never used it. It sat on a shelf in my home for a while. When I decided to use it, I unpackaged it to find it defective. It wasn't beat up or dented, it just didn't work. I spent some time troubleshooting with Sewell chat support to be told it's out of its warranty and that I can trash it. I feel that the job of this device is to sit on a shelf and split video. All mine can do is sit on a shelf :( I will not buy any equipment from this company.
